                            NETWORK MEETING

The next meeting of the Network Working Group will be held in Atlantic
City, New Jersey coincident with the SJCC. The Wicker Room of the Dennis
Hotel has been reserved from Sunday, May 16 at 8:00 pm. through
Thursday, May 20 at 6:00 pm.

Since it is not possible to reserve a block of hotel rooms, we will
attempt to locate all of the attendees at the same hotel by handling
reservations through MITRE. Prospective attendees should contact my
secretary Mrs. Marybelle Goodson, 703-893-3500 Ext. 2316.

PROBLEMMembers of the Network Working Group needed to know where and when their next meeting would take place.
MECHANISMThe notice gives the Atlantic City venue and meeting dates, and describes how MITRE would coordinate hotel reservations.
WHAT THIS MEMO DOESRFC 99 is a meeting notice and was updated by RFC 116.

§1Meeting Place and Schedule

The next Network Working Group meeting is to be held in Atlantic City, New Jersey, coincident with the SJCC. The Wicker Room at the Dennis Hotel is reserved from Sunday, May 16 at 8:00 pm through Thursday, May 20 at 6:00 pm.

The notice tells members where the meeting will take place and when the reserved room will be available.

§2Hotel Reservations

Because a block of hotel rooms could not be reserved, the organizers plan to handle reservations through MITRE in an attempt to place attendees at the same hotel. Prospective attendees are asked to contact the author's secretary, Mrs. Marybelle Goodson.

Attendees should contact the named secretary to arrange a room. MITRE will try to place the group in the same hotel.

§3Administrative Notice

RFC 99 records meeting logistics rather than computer protocol rules. The unit metadata identifies RFC 116 as an update to this memo.

This RFC is a meeting announcement, not a set of technical rules. RFC 116 later updated it.
