§1A Distribution Notice
RFC 16 is a short administrative notice. It states that M.I.T. is now to receive all Network Working Group memos.
The memo directs senders to Abhai Bhushan at Project MAC, MIT, and includes his mailing address and telephone number.
The memo gives the Network Working Group a new destination for its memos. It names a recipient and provides the contact information needed to send them.
§2Who Should Receive the Memos
The notice identifies Abhai Bhushan in Room 807 at Project MAC, 545 Technology Square, Cambridge, Massachusetts. It also lists a telephone number with an extension.
The document contains no protocol or technical procedure; its entire purpose is to announce the distribution address.
Send NWG memos to Abhai Bhushan at the Project MAC address shown in the RFC. The document is only a mailing instruction.
§3Related RFC Changes
The memo includes a note that it was restored to online status by Walter Pienciak. The unit metadata says RFC 16 obsoletes RFC 10 and is updated by RFCs 24, 27, and 30.
The unit metadata records later RFCs that update this notice. The text itself gives only the memo distribution instruction.
